So one of the things about Peace Corps that I keep hearing is that you end up with a ton of free time on your hands. People have suggested that I take up a hobby. Here is a sample of what I've been up to : ) I felt like both songs were fitting. Enjoy!

Good lord, woman. You slayed me. This is exactly what I needed. I just got into Lima, had been called fat to my face one to many times this week and was all kinds of homesick... I LOVE YOU. I get the feeling we're going to be having TOTALLY different Peace Corps experiences. I can't wait to compare.
ReplyDeleteYes! You'll be the only ukalele player on this side of the Danube. Try to invent new hobbies too...mine for the summer was making a porch garden out of 2L beer bottles...and also picking up a stray cat, hitchhiking hundreds of kilometers and arm wrestling with villagers in the local bar. I can't wait to hear/compare/complain about your experiences. Feel free to drop any questions my way as I have internet in my apartment(we're spoiled volunteers in Romania, you'll probably be too!) so I can answer quickly. But I suggest you wing it cuz its more interesting that way :)

ReplyDeleteRebecca and I watched you uke videos last night. You are unbelievably cute in these! You have a nice voice, and I don't remember hearing it before. Great song picks too!
